MORE fun.

After getting a little taste of At Least I’m Not as Sad (As I Used to Be) I was left wanting to hear more. So I searched all over looking for any trace of new songs. YouTube was a pretty good source, but the audio is awful in most of the videos and a lot of them are missing the beginning or end of the songs.  Eventually I came across this great link. It is a live acoustic set from this past November when fun. was touring with Jack’s Mannequin. The audio is not perfect, but it is far better than anything else I’ve been able to find and it is the entire set which is also nice.  The set consists of 8 songs, 5 fun. songs which I can only assume will all be on Aim and Ignite, 2 songs by The Format and a cover of the Dexy’s Midnight Runners song Come On Eileen.

It is very very starange hearing The First Single and She Doesn’t Get It, especailly acoustic, without Sam on guitar. It is not that it sounds different, it just feels different. As much as I miss hearing The Format’s songs live I’m not sure If I would want to experience them that way. I personally think The Gambler is the gem of this set. I an very excited to hear what it sounds like on the album. Enjoy.
