NEW fun. song up
Jul 2009 15

We may still have a month before Aim & Ignite is released, but fun. has been kind enough to grace out with just one more song off of the album. They just added “Walking the Dog” to their MySpace. I know it is an obvious pun, but the song really is quite fun. Check it out.

Aim and Ignite presale
Jul 2009 17

Aim and Ignite is officially up on hello merch for preorder, and even the vinyl pressing is available. You have no idea how happy this makes me.  A few weeks ago Andrew Dost posted a photo of the vinyl on his twitter, so it was obvious that it was coming, but I was really expecting it to be a delayed release like a lot of bands have been doing lately (ie: Death Cab’s 4+ month wait for Narrow Stairs.) The price is $25, but the record also comes with the shirt pictured above and a digital copy of the album, so it’s not too shabby.

For those without a turntable, no worries. The album is also available in the usual CD and digital download forms as well. The digital download comes with two bonus tracks, and the first 500 CDs ordered will come with autographed booklets.   …of course, there’s also no time like the present to buy a turntable. I mean come on. Look at that record!
